Kym Powell

Kym is a passionate geography educator dedicated to integrating nature-based learning into education. She believes students learn best through direct immersion in nature, fostering appreciation and stewardship of the environment. Committed to sustainability, Kym advocates for incorporating First Nations wisdom and traditions in education while promoting rewilding and regeneration. Continuously expanding her understanding, through listening, reading and conversations, she explores ways to bridge traditional classroom teaching with experiential, outdoor learning.
