Kirsty de Garis

Kirsty de Garis is a curator and facilitator, and the former editor of Dumbo Feather magazine. She started her career in newspapers: as a journalist at The Observer in London. She went on to work in documentary film for several years and for the past 15 years have been a curator of TED and TEDx events in Australia and the United States. Kirsty facilitated discussion at the Forest Economics Congress, and has run deliberative democracy workshops in federal electorates. She loves wild walking, to swim in oceans and rivers, and is Rewilding a beautiful piece of the Snowy Mountains as a lifelong project with her husband and children.
