Emily Alexander

Emily Alexander is the Education Director at Culture College in Darwin. Culture College are led and directed by First Nations Elders and are an organisation innovating the way young people in Australia develop a relationship with Country, culture and our colonial history as a way of walking together toward reconciliation.  Emily Alexander is also a lecturer and developer in Indigenous Knowledges among the Faculty of Arts & Society, Education & Enabling at Charles Darwin University, and has helped develop the 'Country as Teacher' pedagogy/programs in the Bundjalung region. She is actively involved in two-way learning, active reconciliation work, as well as primary/secondary/tertiary and outdoor education with a focus on pedagogy of place and Indigenous knowledges.
